Services
We place our customers #1!
Our continued desire is to be Southwest Michigan's most respected Nursery, Florist & Garden Center.
One of the noblest things a man can do is to plant a tree that will give shade to someone he will never know.
We want you to get the right plant for your area the first time!
Our local nursery farm grows the highest quality plants around and our experts are glad to help you select the best choices so you can have growing success.
After 75 years, our vegetable stand has grown to be the largest one-stop outdoor living area around.
It's your day-Wedel's will help you do it your way!
Our professional designers can custom create your perfect day with the best arrangements for your special occasion.
Our Plant Doctor is always in! Bring in a soil sample or two.
We'll test the pH, no charge, and prescribe any soil conditioners you may need based on the plants you want to have.
Bring in some branches or leaves or insect samples or weed samples.
We'll look at them and prescribe what you need to bring your plant back to health.
Top quality feed from Wedel's means less waste on the ground under your feeder.
Watch out - there is a 10% change that frost will occur after that, though!
The ideal soil temperature for planting vegetable seeds and plants is between 65 and 75 degrees.
Planting them in warm soil will most likely prevent them from rotting.
Birds need 3 things for survival - food, water and shelter.
It is best to keep feeders out year 'round so they know where to come for their food source.
Ideally, bird feeders should be near an evergreen or shrub for shelter and have a bird bath or other source of water nearby.
Wedel's is well-known for superior garden and plant advice - our plant doctors are always in!
We are also known for our fun, educational events.
We are planning events as possible, with CDC guidelines, so that we can continue our goal of "growing" the next generation of gardeners.
Kangaroos, mini sheep, large tortoise, camels, mini zebu, alpaca, mini goats & lot's of family fun to be had!
