Janette saw what they couldn't see, an opportunity to fill this garden of hopelessness and drought with flowers.
In 1996, she planted a seed -- Flores Del Amor.
And through watering this seed with constant perseverance, remaining humble and a lot of sacrifice, Flores Del Amor took root and slowly blossomed into a beautiful flower that has brought up the community of Humboldt Park shedding its former image into a bold, new and promising area to live.
